Day 3: Breakfast at the hotel

Practical information about the canal cruise:
  • Parking: The car can be parked in the parking lot at Thon Hotel Høyers while you are on a trip. They have two parking spaces, where you can park for a fee. Should both be full, it is possible to park in a municipal parking lot across the street for a fee. It is also possible to move the car to Hjellebrygga when you are going on a boat trip, where you can park for free, but it is important that you have a parking permit in the windshield so as not to get a fine. This is done by contacting the crew on the boat before boarding.
  • Dining on board: There is a restaurant on board the boat, and included in this package is breakfast and lunch on board. Breakfast is served from 08:10 to 09:30. It is also possible to buy food from the menu on board, without pre-ordering. It is not possible to pre-book a table during the entire trip, and it is not allowed to bring food on board. 
  • Travel on a Monday: On Mondays, there is a boat change in Lunde. M/S Victoria sails Skien-Lunde-Skien, while M/S Henrik Ibsen sails Dalen-Lunde-Dalen. If you are traveling on a Monday, we therefore ask you to contact us by phone or email for manual booking.
  • Bus return: There is a bus change in Seljord, the buses correspond and wait for each other.

Practical information at Thon Hotel Høyers:
  • Dining: The hotel has its own restaurant. Feel free to add either a 2- or 3-course dinner when you book this package. Breakfast is included in the price of the hotel in addition to breakfast on board, so if you are an early bird it is possible to have a snack before check-out, and then you can enjoy a late breakfast after you have passed the Løveid lock on the way across Norsjø.
  • Parking: The car can be parked in the parking lot at Thon Hotel Høyers while you are on a trip.  They have two parking spaces, one of which is for a fee and the other is free. Should both be full, it is possible to park in a municipal parking lot across the street for a fee.
  • Distance to Hjellebrygga: It is approx. 7 minutes walking distance from the hotel to Hjellebrygga.
