Practical information during the canal cruise:
Parking:
You can park your car at the parking lot at Thon Hotel Høyers while on board.
The hotel has two parking lots, both against a fee.
If both are full, there is another parking lot across the street for the hotel for a fee.
It is also possible to move your car to Hjellebrygga on day 2.
Here you can park your car free of charge if you have a parking permit in the windshield to avoid fines.
Collect it from the crew on board before departure.
Meals on board:
There is a restaurant on board.
Included in this package you will be served a breakfast platter.
Seating time to be agreed directly with the restaurant staff once you have boarded.
Breakfast is served from departure kl. 08.10 and until kl. 09.30.
You can also order food directly at the boat from their menu without prebooking.
If you book tickets for 10 persons or more, we recommend that you prebook meals on board.
It is not possible to book a table for the entire journey, and you can’t bring your own food on board.
Bus:
The canal bus is limited only to our guests and is a tour bus.
At Lunde lock, the bus stop is located approx. 200 meters from the lock, and it stops right next to Hjellebrygga pier in Skien.
Dogs are not allowed, except for guide dogs.

The hotel has its own restaurant, and you can add 2- or 3-course dinner when purchasing this package.
Breakfast is included in the package rate, so if you are a morning person it is possible to grab something to eat before leaving the hotel.
Then you can enjoy a late breakfast after you have passed the first lock, Løveid, while sailing over lake Norsjø.

You can park your car at the parking lot at Thon Hotel Høyers while on board.

It is about 7 minutes in walking distance from the hotel to Hjellebrygga pier.
